Photography is the secret garden of Heidi Hassan, a renowned director and chief operator. Regularly featuring herself in her pictures, she has integrated a souvenir photograph with her ex-husband in front of an Alpine landscape, partly concealed by a bas-relief made of paper cake molds, into a box in the manner of Joseph Cornell. Inside, there are other objects that have had symbolic importance for the couple, such as guitar strings with the pearls of a necklace simulating a constellation that has lost its former glory, and that imprison the couple. Down below there are piles of a farewell letter discovering fragments of sentences that differ with each presentation of the work. Thus the public always has partial and different information about the couple's history; a phenomenon similar to the functioning of memory. *1978, lives and works in Geneva and Madrid
